 What is Threading?

Threading is popular in Asia and Europe and is rapidly making its mark in America. This Eastern technique of removing hair has been passed down through generations from mother to daughter, from aunt to niece. There are many ways to remove unwanted facial hair, whether it is eyebrows, chin, or even that unmentionable mustache! Electrolysis, bleaching, and waxing are other means to get the job done, but threading is fast becoming the preferred method.

Tara is an expert in performing this unique art. Threading is performed using 100% cotton thread, which is twisted and rolled along the surface of the skin. Hair is entwined in the thread and then lifted out from the follicle.
